Project description.
Installed in 2014, this 5kW Solar PV system is grid connected and includes 20 x 250W Canadian Solar Modules spread across two different roof faces and a SMA Sunny Boy 5000TL The SMA inverter includes a dual tracking Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) system which means solar panels can be installed on two different roof faces and still gain maximum performance.
This system could easily be retrofitted to include battery storage at a future date.
